The buzz around the new Amazon series is not stopping. In February and March, we got Fallout 1 and Fallout 2 on Amazon Prime Gaming and now we are getting Fallout 76 with the Fallout series premiere on April 11th.
It’s cool to see the huge classics like Fallout 1&2 making their comeback here and there. They definitely deserve some more love. Even if the newer installments and the Amazon series have a much different tone and humor to them. They’re still fantastic and I highly recommend you play them.
As for Fallout 76, the game launched as a disaster for Bethesda back in 2018, but after 6 years of continuous updates and additional content, the game is in much better condition. Is it worth playing though? If you have Amazon Prime, like many of us, sure! It’s a free (included with subscription), pretty cool multiplayer game for you to get sucked into this incredible world.
Amazon got people at the edge of their seats with the trailers for their new Fallout series, myself included. After the first teaser, I was very skeptical, but after the official trailer, it really grew on me. I’m still cautious because game adaptations are still a hit or miss, but I will definitely give it a shot.
The story follows a young woman, a fallout shelter dweller, who emerges into the wasteland and tries to survive in a new and crazy dangerous setting. We get all the goodness from the latest Fallout games, shelters, dwellers, mutants, robots, and The Brotherhood of Steel. Everything wrapped up in a beautiful package according to the trailer. Hopefully, the story will be fantastic too.
