The long awaited enormous mod is now available for the PC players with a copy of Fallout 4 bought from Steam or GOG.

The wait is finally over. After long five years of development, Team FOLON has just released Fallout: London. So, what is it? London is a huge, DLC-sized free to play mod for the PC version of Fallout 4. While the mod itself is free, you need a copy of Fallout 4 from either Steam or GOG. Unfortunately the Game Pass version of the game is not supported at the time of writing this article.

As the name suggests Fallout: London is taking us to the post apocalyptic London, marking the first time, although unofficially, when the series takes us outside of The United States. This makes the mod that much more interesting. Not only we can admire the incredible work the whole team has put into this mod, but we can also step into a completely fresh adventure, never before seen by Fallout fans.

The developers at Team FOLON claim the mod is comparible in size with the official Fallout 4 expansion Far Harbor, which is very impressive. That means a huge map full of new characters, monsters and more to keep the players busy. So who are the devs?

Team FOLON is a large group of amateur and professional Fallout enthusiasts, who started to work on the mod in a form of a small addon with few quests in 2019. In the beginning the team consisted only of few fans, but they quickly gathered many more people from around the globe, eager to help in making London as big as possible. Now, after 5 years of their tireless efforts we can finally jump into an atomic city of London.

Like I said, the mod is available only on PC at the moment. The devs expressed willingness to turn Fallout: London into a stand alone game, if Bethesda would allow them to do so. The publisher has not commented on the topic yet. I’m happy the mod is out, even if it’s just on PC. If we ever get it on consoles, I’ll be even happier. Now, show the devs some love and download Fallout: London today.
