This Xbox exclusive just hit a huge milestone.
Forza Horizon 5 launched back in November 2021, which makes it almost three years old at the moment of writing this article. And before hitting its third birthday, the game has hit a number of 40 milion total players. That means, the game saw over 40mln people at least launching the game.
The actual number of active players is just in the thousands now. And don’t get me wrong. Xbox is not doing very well in this generation. And the game itself is not new, yet they still have quite a big active player base. Color me impressed.
Personally I put my few hours in the game and it is entertaining as heck. There is so much to do it will make your head spin. Forza Horizon 5 is an open world racing game, featuring a crazy amount of cars, races, events and much more. The game takes place in sunny Mexico, where you roam through deserts, mountains and thick green landscapes. Plus the game has seen a steady grow of content since its release. There’s even a Hot Wheels DLC, which is pretty funny.
If you have an Xbox, a PC or even just any screen or an Amazon Fire TV Stick (as of lately), you can check the game on your own through Game Pass, which would explain how the game got to such high numbers of total players. If you’re looking to fill some free time with a proper racing game, Forza Horizon 5 is without a doubt a game worth playing.
