Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door remake is closing in as we get new footage from Nintendo a month prior to the game’s release.

Nintendo started pushing some more marketing for their next release. They shared new footage video on X along with a graphic including a letter from Princess Peach to Mario, in which she invites the plumber to visit the town of Rogueport.

In the video, we get to see some of the mentioned town with Mario and Goombella characters meeting each other. And it looks great.

Nintendo Switch gets another classic game. And believe me, this one is a must-have. Especially since up to this point you could only play this title on the original hardware. And this one has been crazy expensive lately. Not to mention you would probably also need to buy a Game Cube.

The game looks stunning and I’m sure it will be a lot of fun. Fortunately for the fans, Nintendo rarely delivers a bad gaming experience. The game will be released on May 23.

With Paper Mario we only have one more game in the pipeline (Mario pun intended) that we already know of, which is Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD. Some people are nervous about this, but we’re not even halfway through this year and I’m sure Nintendo will give us a few more surprises by the end of it.

And while waiting for the next Nintendo system, let’s enjoy the games we will be getting on the Nintendo Switch while it’s still around.
