The new Star Wars game is ready to go. The game will release August 30, 2024.

The developer Massive Entertainment has just announced they finished their work on the new Star Wars Outlaws game. That’s cool. The game should release on time, which is 8.30.24.

So what can we expect from the newest installment in the Star Wars world of games? Outlaws is going to be an open world action-adventure game. We will step into the shoes of Kay Vess, a scoundrel fighting for survivial in the criminal world of the outer rim.

The game seems to be somewhat a heist movie in the Star Wars universe. Imagine mixing a Rockstar game with the Han Solo movie. That’s the part I’m pretty excited about. Star Wars tends to lean to much on the Jedi stuff, and I like the more prosaic themes.

Just so you know, I’m not a fan of Ubisoft titles. I wasn’t particularly happy to find out they got the rights to SW games, but I do very much like Star Wars universe and this game seems very promising. I’m hopeful it won’t be as boring as some Ubi games tend to be.

From what we’ve heard, it can be finished in around 30 hours, wich is a very good thing in my opinion. Simply because if a Ubisoft game is like 90h, it usually is just super boring fillers. 30 hours seem like a good balance. Plus, I’m sure it can be longer for anyone looking to 100% the game.

Star Wars Outlaws will start at 70$, with an optional Gold and Ultimate versions for 110$ and 130$ with season pass and other additions. Usual Ubisoft stuff. The game will be available on Playstation 5, Xbox X|S and PC.

We won’t have to wait much longer, so we will all find out how it is to be a hero of a heist movie type of game soon enough. My hopes are up.
